Director Anil Ravipudi’s films always leak before their release. Even in that case, the family audience was convinced that ‘Sankranthi is coming’ is a surefire hit with Venkatesh, who scored a victory every time he came in the family backdrop. Many directors do not like to reveal the main point, saying that if the story is told in the teaser and trailer, there will be no interest in the actual story. But Anil Ravipudi revealed the entire story of ‘Sankranthi is coming’ in the trailer itself. What is the story? What is the story? He gave clarity on the story progression with the male leads characters. Revealing the story in advance and attracting the audience to the theaters is not an ordinary thing. But the director and actors showed the entire movie in the trailer and made it clear when to go to the theaters and watch the movie. The promotions peaked the interest in the movie. Especially hero Venkatesh acted, sang, made people laugh, made them laugh and made them feel good. He took the movie promotions to a super level. Did the unit that had earlier said that they were going to win by ‘Sankranthi’ achieve that success? Did it give them a taste of a blockbuster Pongal? Let’s find out…
Story: Yadagiri Damodar Raju alias Yama Dharmaraju (Venkatesh) and Bhagyalakshmi (Aishwarya Rajesh) have a happy family. Raju loves Bhagya dearly, calling her Ramachilakava even on the Godarigattu. Raju, a senior IPS officer, is suspended in an encounter case and resigns from the police department. He comes to Rajahmundry from Hyderabad. He falls in love with Bhagya at first sight and marries her. He lives happily ever after, having four children in six years. However, Telangana CM Keshav (Naresh) brings Satya Akella (Avasarala Srinivas), the CEO of the country’s number 1 company, to Hyderabad with the intention of attracting investments. However, Biju Pandey kidnaps him. He says that Satya Akella will be released only if his brother Papa Pandey, who is in jail, is released, otherwise he will be killed. CM Keshav launches a secret operation, fearing that if this matter gets out, the government will be disgraced. Believing that only Raju can solve this crime and kidnapping case, which has become a challenge to the police and the government, his suspension is lifted and the responsibility of catching the criminals is handed over to Raju. Junior IPS officer Meena (Meenakshi Chowdhury) is sent to assist Raju in this case. There begins a thrilling, typical treasure triangle love story. At a weak moment, Raju tells his wife that he has given a story of his breakup. Meena, who has become a police officer, is caught by fortune as she is her husband’s ex-girlfriend. Raju and Meena are investigating a kidnapping case and cannot bear to see them getting close. She also becomes a part of the investigation. While they are investigating the case, Bhagyam is investigating the husband’s breakup love story. Torn between his wife and ex-girlfriend, how does he end the kidnapping case investigation? Why is encounter specialist Damodar Raju suspended? Why is Satyam kidnapped by the Pandey gang? Why does Raju break up with Meenakshi? Under what circumstances does Raju marry Bhagyalakshmi? Why did Bhagyam also participate in the operation to free Satyam from kidnapping? What problems did the step-daughter in the form of Meenakshi cause for Bhagyam? Was Raju torn between his ex-girlfriend and his wife? How far did he go for his adoptive father (Sarvadaman Banerjee)? How did the Satyam kidnapping drama finally end happily? That’s the real story of ‘We Are Coming to Sankranthi’.
Analysis: There is no budget of hundreds of crores.. Pan India artists are not in a hurry.. There is no time for years.. They completed the shooting in three or four months and made the film in six or seven months.. They left a blockbuster picture for Sankranthi. They said in advance that ‘We are coming to Sankranthi’.. We are winning the victory and gave us a taste of a blockbuster Pongal. A husband who is torn between his wife.. and his ex-girlfriend. This is a film that every family can relate to. A film that makes you think that this is like my story. : The film ‘We are coming to Sankranthi’ is a combination of fun, father sentiment, family drama, and action. Between a wife, husband, and girlfriend.. They showed a fun ride by investigating a tricky kidnapping case. At the end, they gave a message that the teacher should be respected. Every student must have a master who patted his shoulder. Such a teacher should not be forgotten. Anil Ravipudi gave a lesson saying, “Even success without recognizing the teacher is an orphan.” Even though Venky Mama jokingly says, “Don’t tell flashbacks,” there is a strong intention behind it. Did you love anyone before marriage? He asks very softly. If you accidentally tell the truth, Matash. Throughout life, you keep poking around every time an occasion arises. So, everyone has a past. In that past, there must have been a love story. Does not love mean that you did not seek love? Even if that love is not expressed, at least there is a first crush. About that first love.. or about crushes, when the wedding is called off, it is a lifelong torture. What that torture is like on Sankranthi is shown in a lively way in ‘Sankranthiki Yaaranam’. The love story of the boyfriend between the girlfriend and the wedding continues happily. If the first half of the movie is crazy, the second half feels a bit stretched. If you expect too much from the climax, you will be disappointed. Otherwise, the movie will leave the audience satisfied that they have seen complete clean entertainment. This Sankranthi, Jandhyala Marku is a comedy movie that the whole family can watch together. If you watch it in the cinema halls for the theater experience, you will feel good. Even though the story of the movie is old, it moves in a regular, routine commercial point and makes you feel a little cheerful. It can be said that Anil Ravipudi, who is adept at adding humor in his own style, has been blown away by the same treatment. Sometimes, if you see Jandhyala Marku comedy, other times it reminds you of the scenes of pure Jabardasth. However, Venky Mama’s image, the scenes written keeping in mind the family audience he has, have cultivated hilarious humor. It must be said that he shared the Sankranthi festival with movie fans by adding action along with entertainment. Back then.. the house was full of houses and the girlfriend was in the kitchen. Now.. ‘We are coming to Sankranthi’. In that story, while there were houses in the house.. Venky Mama, who entertained by putting his girlfriend in the kitchen.. this time, he made people laugh with the story of an ex-girlfriend and a married wife. Venky Mama, who is adept at playing a character torn between two people, once again made people laugh. He spread laughter in theaters. He provided real entertainment for this Sankranthi. Anil Ravipudi’s movie is.. will it make you laugh.. there are those who say that you can laugh comfortably for a while. If he never makes routine trashy movies, can’t he try something different? There are those who say that he makes the same movie over and over again. Anil Ravipudi may not be able to match the taste of those who curse, but… Anil Ravipudi, who has set his own set of set-off films and audiences, has once again provided a fun treat without changing his style. Anil Ravipudi’s direction mark is not to miss the core element of comedy. He may not make great films, but… he does not make bad films. Anil Ravipudi’s films mean… family audiences come… there will be no loss in collections. Hit talk guarantee… starting with not one, not two, but Pataas and scoring six hits till the film… he continued his form with the film Sankranthi. It is not wrong to think that Abbey Anil Ravipudi has made so many great films. Because… what is a great film… that is a big debating subject. In a context where Indian blockbuster hits like Pushpa and Baahubali have been scuttled, Anil Ravipudi’s films have something ‘great’. That’s why Anil Ravipudi doesn’t want debates.. What’s important is acting in the film. He did the same with this film. How many people did his film reach.. How much did it collect.. Anil Ravipudi, who considered pleasing the audience.. and making them laugh as his success mantra, impressed once again with a decent family entertainer.
Who did it… Venkatesh got a tailor-made role as a king. He got into various shades of characters like an orphan, an encounter specialist, an ex-boyfriend, a responsible husband, a father, and a son. With his own mannerisms and body language, he once again provided full meals in the form of entertainment to the family audience. Venkatesh played the role of Yadagiri Damodar Raju alias Yama Dharmaraju.. He did a heroic act. He kept laughing from the start to the end of the movie. He not only sang the blockbuster song Pongaloo.. but also gave Pongal a grand victory.
Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi were engrossed in their roles. They immersed themselves in their characters. Aishwarya Rajesh, who played the wife of Venkatesh, gave another best performance in her career in the role of Bhagyam. She showed the multi shades in her.. and showed dots to ‘Raju Ba’.. and entertained the audience. She said, “Aay madi Godavari andi.”. She should look like a gayyali.. and not feel like that. Aishwarya Rajesh made a very typical character so easy. She hit the stepfather hard.. and it felt like a final wedding. Bhagyam seemed like a wife until her husband told her love story. Now that he told her love story.. the real marriage in her came out. Godari was playfully praising her.. That Godari accent also brought more luck to Bhagya.
Meenakshi Chaudhary is perfectly set as the junior IPS officer who assists Raju in the investigation of the kidnapping case. Meenakshi Chaudhary.. looks stunning in a police dress. She also impresses in the action scenes. She is also well set as Raju’s ex-lover who fights with his wife. Now, after watching the movie, Sankranthi is coming.. I wonder how many people talk about the hero, heroine and director, but.. this kid definitely talks about the child artist Revanth, who played Venkatesh’s son Bulliraju. He really bit the theaters saying ‘Korikesta.. Korikesta’. In the first half, all the villagers come.. while he is scolding his father Chinna Raju.. the dialogues that Bulliraju uttered by the kid Bulliraju were heard in the theaters. The highlight is the scene where Meenakshi Chowdhury shows that your ex-girlfriend and my aunt have come for you, Nannay. My father is dancing with my mother.. The gestures and dialogues of the boy who says that he is not going to dance with your wives.. made the audience laugh without crossing any limits. Naresh as the Telangana CM.. VTV Ganesh as the party president became a key part of the fun ride. Upendra Limaye performed exceptionally as jailer George Antony. Sai Kumar’s base voice episode was also good. Along with the necessary ones.. Srinivas Reddy and Vadlamani Srinivas got good roles. Pammisai in Godavari accent.. Ganesh immerses the audience in laughter in the role that turns the story around.
In terms of technical matters… Bheems scored full marks with BGM and songs. It must be said that he, who gave a hit vibe to the release of the film, took the on-screen songs to another range with the background score. The major highlight of this film is… Bheems’s music. He sang the song Godari Gattupayne Ramachilakavaye with sensational singer Ramana Gogal and made the audience sing that song again and again. But the song is just as amazing visually. Bhanu Master’s choreography also seems very decent. Every song like Godari Gattupayne Ramachilakavaye, Miru, Blockbuster Pongalu is a hit. Their placement is also very good. The songs that come in the correct placement and context are not like they are inserted in the story… the major highlight of this film is the songs that come in the correct placement. The background score is played well. And Sameer Reddy has beautifully carved every scene. The beauty of Godavari has been captured beautifully on camera. Tammiraju has made the movie run smoothly. Dil Raju’s production values are good. For the entire family to go to the theaters for Sankranthi and come back laughing happily, ‘Sankranthiki vaalanam’ is the best choice. Even though there are ex-love stories.. it is a delightful movie to watch with the wives. Once again, Sri Venkateswara Creations has provided a family movie that will entertain the whole family for Sankranthi. And..why delay.. enjoy ‘Blockbuster Pongal’.
