The notices state that information should be provided regarding the remuneration of the films Kaduva, Janaganamana and Gold. The actor did not take any remuneration for these films. However, it is reported that he earned about 40 crores as a co-producer. The Income Tax Department has demanded clarity on the money received in this name. The Income Tax Department explained that this is a natural process. Prithviraj received a notice via email on the 29th of last month. They were told to provide an explanation for the notice by the 29th of this month. Meanwhile, the ED conducted raids on the Chennai office and Neelamkara residence of prominent industrialist Gokulam Gopalan yesterday. These searches were also conducted at five places in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. These searches were conducted for 14 hours and were completed by midnight. Gopalan, who was in Kozhikode yesterday, was called to Chennai in the evening and questioned till midnight. After the interrogation, documents and Rs. 1.5 crore cash were seized. It seems that the documents related to financial transactions will be examined in detail and further questioning is possible.
