Story: Kabir (Hrithik Roshan), an expert agent in the Indian RAW agency, becomes a contract killer and commits murders. Analysis: Like Yash Raj Films’ previous films, War 2 is full of action scenes and chases. Director Ayan Mukerji gave a hint about these action sequences in the teaser and trailer itself. What is the story of the film? The director revealed in the first hour itself. The story starts in Japan and revolves around Italy, Germany, and India. The suspense and speed of the story increases from the moment NTR enters. NTR acted with Hrithik without slowing down at all. Right before the interval, who is he? Kabir tells Vikram why he is doing all this. The action sequence that takes place in the sky, with two planes, became the highlight of the film. NTR-Hrithik competed in this fight scene. Only then did Kabir know who Vikram was, and the interval twist was amazing. In the second half, the director revealed the past of the heroes by telling a flashback story. Kabir and Vikram’s mind game and Raw chief Vikrant Kav’s strategies entertain the audience. The climax ends with a fierce battle and twists between Vikram and Kabir. NTR and Hrithik Roshan competed in dance and performed steps. This song made the theaters buzz. Hrithik Roshan, who is a carafe for action movies, played the role of Kabir effortlessly. He acted wonderfully in the train scene where he escapes from Raw in the first half and the action scenes on the flight in the interval, reminding us of Hollywood movies. As for NTR… he gave Hrithik a tough competition and impressed us in the action scenes. He especially made us cry with his acting in the climax. Heroine Kiara Advani showed another shade of herself in the action sequences along with the bikini and liplocks. Ashutosh Rana, Anil Kapoor and others did justice to the scope of their roles. Those who wanted strong emotional elements might be a little disappointed. Especially the patriotic elements were a bit lacking. The clash between the two heroes was good, but if the circumstances that contributed to it had been more visible, the impact would have been different. Also, the main villain in the film seems weak. The battle with an unseen villain does not seem that exciting. Also, some moments in the second half were dull. The story progresses slowly even till the climax. Then it picks up. There is no doubt that War 2 will also provide a crazy action treat in terms of action for the lovers of Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe action movies. Right from the beginning of the film, one action sequence after another is seen at a higher level with higher technical values. Also, there are many twists and turns in the film that give good surprises. Along with these, there are also good emotional scenes here and there. As for the actors… all eyes are on the two heroes. And the two heroes have impressed in a way that does not fall short of expectations. They impressed with the different mindset of both of them and their body language. However, we saw Hrithik in War 1, but in this one, it must be said that Tarak is a surprise. His intense performance and attitude will treat his fans. He has given such a performance that if you combine shades like Raavan in Jai Lava Kusa with looks like Daya in Temper, what kind of solid role you get. Similarly, the climax sequence with Hrithik is impressive with emotional scenes and bromance scenes between the two. When it comes to another hero Hrithik Roshan, it must be said that Hrithik has impressed with his marked presence again. He has appeared in the same way as his fans want in this franchise and has given a good treat. His screen presence is even better in some frames. He also did the action part in a relaxed manner. Along with this, all the scenes between the two are impressive. Kiara also did her limited role well. She got good action scenes in the first half. Along with them, Ashutosh Rana did well. Surprise actor Anil Kapoor also did well. Kiara Advani did not have much scope. Anil Kapoor’s role also seems good in the beginning but later on it feels forced. Also, NTR’s character needs to be designed better. It seems like his role is a routine negative to positive role that we have seen so far. All the action scenes are okay, but one action scene in the second half feels very silly.
Coming to the technical aspects.. the production values of the film are good. A huge amount of money has been spent on the action part. The action choreography and cinematography are good. Also, Pritam’s music has worked well. The editing in the film needs to be done well in some scenes. As for director Ayan Mukerji.. it can be said that he has handled the story given by Aditya Chopra well with a decent story. Especially the way he handled the two heroes is very good. In a word, he has taken more care in the case of Tarak. The scenes designed keeping in mind the Telugu audience and NTR fans, as well as the special score, will impress. The background score provided by Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara for this film is extra strong. Benjamin Jasper has shown the action sequences wonderfully and taken us to another world. In terms of production values, Aditya Chopra has produced this film in a very grand manner without compromising anywhere.
