Kalyan C Korimerla – An Experienced Leader in the Clean-Tech Space – Joins EV Manufacturer Etrio’s Board as Managing Director & Co-Promoter

Kalyan C Korimerla was formerly the CEO of NSL Renewable Power and Founder of OneEarth Power Ventures; he also served as Vice President of Wind Independent Power Producers Association

Hyderabad, 03rd February 2022: Kalyan C Korimerla, a leader with more than two and half decades of professional experience in the United States, Europe, and India, has joined Hyderabad-headquartered electric vehicle manufacturing company Etrio Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. as the Managing Director and Co-Promoter. Kalyan will now be a part of Etrio’s Promoters Group as well as its Board of Directors.

Kalyan has spent the last decade in the renewable energy industry in India as the Chief Executive Officer of NSL Renewable Power and as Founder & Managing Director of OneEarth Power Ventures where he managed and developed renewable energy portfolios of 510 MW and 133 MW respectively. In addition, he was elected as the Vice President of Wind Independent Power Producers Association (WIPPA), an association that represents the largest wind energy companies in India.

Under Kalyan’s leadership, Etrio will transform itself from a start-up into a mature and robust organization offering comprehensive products and solutions that meet the operational and sustainability needs of its customers. With its focus on providing Cargo Electric Vehicles for the logistics sector, Etrio will work on reducing the carbon footprint of one of the fastest-growing sectors in India while fulfilling its vision and meeting its business and sustainability objectives.

Notably, prior to founding OneEarth, Kalyan was an Investment Banker at JPMorgan in New York and Arma Partners in San Francisco and London, where he worked on Mergers & Acquisitions and Spin-off transactions aggregating over $18 Billion and capital markets transactions that raised over $8 Billion in equity and debt. He has also previously worked with LSI Logic and Intel Corporation in California across several roles including Strategy, Business Management, Product Marketing, Business Development, and Engineering.
