Director Krish said in the press meet…Hello everyone. Some stories are very natural, raw, and ready to explode. Ghati is such a story. The Eastern Ghats, those mountain ranges, the intense emotions there, very strong people, great mentality, all of these combined to give me an opportunity to tell a good story. Chintakinda Srinivasa Rao is a great writer. First, he told me about this world and it felt very exciting. I worked together in the movie Sweety Vedam. She played the role of Saroja in it. Now she will come before us all as Sheelavathi in Ghati. Arundhati, Saroja, Devasena, Bhagamathi.. Anushka has done many iconic characters like this. She did it very extraordinarily in Ghati too. She is in superstardom. She has grown many times in stardom since Vedam. Her mind is the same. When I told the story of this film, she said that we should definitely make a movie with a lot of adventure. We are going to show Anushka Vishwaroop in this film. Before giving it to the censor, I called Anushka after checking the copy. I told her that this is one of the finest performances in the films she has done so far. The audience will definitely say the same thing. While writing this story, I, our producer Rajiv, Sai Baba, Vikram Pramod Vamsi and I decided that Anushka should play the role of Sheelavathi. I imagined Vikram Prabhu in the character of Desiraju. He plays a different character in every film. This one is also very amazing. He gave a great performance. He dubbed this character with his own voice. Also, Chaitanya is a perfect fit for the character of Kundula Naidu. All the performances in this film are extraordinary. Jagapathi Babu’s character is like a mastermind for this film. The first scene and the last scene are with him. It is fortunate to find good actors and technicians for a good story.
