The film Rahasya Idam Jagath has been capturing everyone’s attention through its posters, glimpses, and teaser. This science-fiction and mythological thriller promises an intriguing blend of science fiction with ancient myths and epics, as suggested by the promotional content. The film explores Indian mythology, the concept of the Sri Chakra, and is intended to offer a unique cinematic experience. Rahasya Idam Jagath is set for release on November 8.
The film stars Rakesh Galebi, Sravanthi Prattipati, Manasa Veena, and Bhargav Gopinatham in lead roles. Directed by Komal R. Bharadwaj and produced by Padma Ravinuthala and Hiranya Ravinuthala under the banner of Single Cell Universe Production, the film has already generated immense interest with its teaser.
On Tuesday, the trailer was unveiled by sensational director Chandoo Mondeti, who won a National Award for Karthikeya 2. At the trailer release, Mondeti expressed his excitement, saying, “The concept of this film excites me, especially because it aligns with topics I personally connect with, read about, and research. The idea of wormholes is fascinating to me. For instance, in 2014, a flight disappeared without a trace, despite our advanced technology. In my deep research, the concept of wormholes came up, and I found it intriguing to link it with mythology—stories of Hanuman, the Skanda Purana, and Narada. Balancing these aspects has made this film a unique project. It’s a challenge to make a film like this, and I believe audiences are now ready to explore science-driven narratives. I am confident the film will captivate everyone.”
Director Komal R. Bharadwaj expressed gratitude to Chandoo Mondeti, stating, “My sincere thanks to Chandoo Mondeti. Supporting fresh content and encouraging new talent requires a big heart. His film Karthikeya was an inspiration, bringing Indian history to audiences. Following his inspiration, I have made this film not only about mythology but also to answer a child’s question: ‘Can something like that happen to us too?’ This film will provide a grand theatrical experience, blending mythological and science-fiction elements in a way that resonates with modern viewers. I believe it will offer audiences a novel experience, with visually stunning scenes and engaging themes. Like Kalki, Hanuman, and Karthikeya, this is a mythological tale aimed at reconnecting Telugu audiences with their heritage, offering insights into ancient stories and mysteries.”
The event also featured actors Sravanthi Prattipati, Manasa Veena, and music director Ghani, among others.
