డిస్నీ+హాట్‌స్టార్‌ పై నూతన రికార్డును సృష్టిస్తూ బ్లాక్‌బస్టర్‌ చిత్రం ‘అఖండ’, అత్యధిక వీక్షకుల సంఖ్యతో పాటుగా వీక్షణ సమయంను నమోదు చేసింది. ఈ స్ట్రీమింగ్‌ ప్లాట్‌ఫామ్‌పై మొట్టమొదటిసారిగా ఇంతటి భారీ విజయం నమోదు చేసిన తొలి తెలుగు చిత్రమిది. డిస్నీ+హాట్‌స్టార్‌ వీక్షకులు ‘అఖండ’ చిత్రం లో నందమూరి బాలకృష్ణ నూతన లుక్‌ పట్ల విపరీతమైన అభిమానం చూపడంతో పాటుగా అతని శక్తివంతమైన క్యారెక్టర్‌తో మమేకమయ్యారు. అదే సమయంలో చిత్రంలోని అగ్రశ్రేణి తారాగణంతో కూడిన అత్యున్నత నాణ్యతా విలువలనూ ప్రశంసించారు. బాక్స్‌ ఆఫీస్‌ వద్ద రికార్డులు సృష్టించిన ‘అఖండ’ చిత్రంలో నందమూరి బాలకృష్ణ , ఓ వినూత్నమైన అఘోర పాత్రలో నటించారు. పరమశివుని వర ప్రసాదంగా , మైనింగ్‌ మాఫియా ఉచ్చులో పడిన గ్రామ రక్షకునిగా కనిపించారు. ఈ చిత్రంలో జగపతి బాబు, శ్రీకాంత్‌ , ప్రగ్యజైశ్వాల్‌ , షామ్నా ఖాసీం, విజ్జి చంద్రశేఖర్‌, సుబ్బరాజు ముఖ్య పాత్రలలో కనిపించారు, ఈ చిత్రానికి సంగీతం ఎస్‌ ఎస్‌ థమన్‌. ఈ చిత్రంలోని పాటలతో పాటుగా నేపథ్య సంగీతం కూడా ప్రేక్షకుల ప్రశంసలు పొందింది. డిస్నీ+హాట్‌స్టార్‌ కంటెంట్‌ హెడ్‌ మరియు డిస్నీ స్టార్‌ ఇండియా ఎంటర్‌టైన్‌మెంట్‌ నెట్‌వర్క్‌ హెచ్‌ఎస్‌ఎం గౌరవ్‌ బెనర్జీ మాట్లాడుతూ ‘‘అఖండ చిత్రానికి వచ్చిన స్పందన పట్ల మేము పూర్తి సంతోషంగా ఉన్నాము. థియేటర్లలో విజయవంతంగా ప్రదర్శించబడినప్పటికీ డిస్నీ+హాట్‌స్టార్‌పై సైతం రికార్డ్‌లు సృష్టించింది. ఈ చిత్రాన్ని డిస్నీ+హాట్‌స్టార్‌పై స్ట్రీమింగ్‌ చేయడం ఆరంభించిన మరుక్షణమే వీక్షించడానికి రికార్డు సంఖ్యలో ప్రేక్షకులు సిద్ధమయ్యారు. ఈ స్ట్రీమింగ్‌ ప్రీమియర్‌కు వీక్షకుల నిరీక్షణ మరియు ప్రతిస్పందన అపూర్వమైనది’’ అని అన్నారు.

అఖండ చిత్ర దర్శకుడు బోయపాటి శ్రీను మాట్లాడుతూ ‘‘నందమూరి నటసింహం బాలకృష్ణతో ఇది నా మూడవ బ్లాక్‌బ్లస్టర్‌ చిత్రం. చిత్రం చూసిన ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ ప్రశంసిస్తున్నందుకు ధన్యవాదములు. ఇప్పుడు 50 రోజుల తరువాత కూడా డిస్నీ+హాట్‌స్టార్‌ వద్ద భారీ ఓపెనింగ్స్‌ రావడం సంతోషంగా ఉంది. కోవిడ్‌ కారణంగా చాలా మంది థియేటర్‌లో చూడలేకపోయారు. వారంతా ఇప్పుడు డిస్నీ+హాట్‌స్టార్‌ వద్ద ఈ చిత్రం వీక్షించడంతో పాటుగా ఈ మహాద్భుతాన్ని ఆస్వాదించవచ్చు’’ అని అన్నారు.
