Many speakers expressed hope that the historical novel ‘Nagaladevi’ written by senior journalist and author Bhagiratha is the greatest love poem of this century, and if made into a film, the indescribable love story of Rayalu and Nagaladevi will be known to the world.
Bhagiratha’s ‘Nagaladevi’ novel review meeting jointly organized by Indian Sahitya Translation Foundation and Raghu Arikapudi Seva Trust was held at Chikkadappalli Kalabharati.
The chief guest of this program was retired Chief Commissioner of Income Tax M. Narasimhappa, Dr. Bikki Krishna as Speakers, Dr. Naleswaram Sankaram, Dr. Beeram Sundar Rao, Dr. Jyotna Prabha, Dr. Jeldi Vidyadhar as speakers.

Author Bhagiratha said.. In 2007, I worked as a project coordinator for the movie ‘Swagatham’ produced with Jagapathi Babu, Anushka and Bhumika. We shot the song ‘Manasa Maunama’ in this movie in Hampi. Then I saw Hampi for the first time. He said that after seeing the ruined metropolis of Vijayanagara, he started researching the history of South India and wrote a love story about Sri Krishna Devaraya’s second wife, Chinna Devi, whose real name was Nagaladevi.
