Bheemla Nayak released on February 25 created a wild storm across cinemas and became a roaring success. Many saw ‘Sold out’ boards in front of cinemas, the online ticketing websites saw a heavy downpour of traffic in the past week. Everyone was swaying to the tunes of Bheemla and everyone celebrate the power of commercial cinema. The film has a stellar cast of Pawan Kalyan, Rana Daggubati, Nithya Menon, Samyuktha Menon, Samuthrakani, Murali Sharma, among others. S Thaman composed music, Trivikram penned the screenplay and dialogues, and Saagar K Chandra directed the action entertainer produced by S Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments.
Ramajogaiah Sastry called the film a power storm and wild fire. “The film has seen a great success overseas and in India. Thanks to Trivikram, Sagar, and all other technicians for this wonderful opportunity.” On speaking about Thaman’s efforts – “When Trivikram suggested about the pre-climax song, Thaman got it into the right groove. He said he will give an effect that’s similar to chopping a tree with 1000 saws. He is a good team player.”
Kasarla Shyam penned two songs for Bheemla Nayak and he recollected a line from the song “ Padamata dikku kungutunte gelichinaamani sambarapadake sandamama”. He continued saying this new light of success is lighting up the whole world. This is his big leap after Ramulo Ramula from Ala Vaikunthapurramulo.
VFX Supervisor Yugandhar said, “Thanks to audience. Trivikram is the tour de force for the film. So, I thank him a lot and all the other cast and crew for bringing out such a fabulous product.”
Samyuktha Menon said, “If it’s Pawan Kalyan film, I should say it’s OUR film. I watched the film amid a lot of whistles and I enjoyed it a lot. The experience was surreal. After sharing the screen with Pawan and Rana, I feel this is my best debut.”
Monica said she is forever grateful to the producer S Naga Vamsi. “The feeling that I acted in frame when Trivikram was behind the camera is a moment to cherish”.
Ganesh Master rolled out a series of thanks. He said, “Firstly, I thank God and then I thank Pawan Kalyan. The third thanks go to Trivikram. He gave wonderful concepts for songs and our team worked on it. Then my thanks to everyone who is part of the film. Bheemla Nayak made everyone a fan of Pawan Kalyan. Special thanks to all the fans”. Ganesh also shook a leg at the success meet and the audience applauded at the event.
A thrilled S Thaman said, “The film’s journey is a jungle safari. Trivikram gave a lot of support. Because of him we had so much of creative space to work. Composing for Bheemla Nayak has been a tight rope walk as the original didn’t have any songs. Here we needed them for commercial appeal and elevating the character of Nayak. I am lucky to have an energetic team and the chartbusters are reflective of our hard work. It was a dream come true for me when I got a chance to work with the combo of Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram. Ramajogaiah Sastry and Kasarla Shyam really gave their best for this film. I have a lot to say and will save it for the success meet”.
Director Saagar K Chandra said, “Thanks to everyone and my heart goes for Thaman for giving the apt background score. He is a deeper and evolved person and that added soul to the film. Samyuktha Menon hit a six on the last ball. Thanks to the lovely choreographers for making everyone dance to the steps. The backbone of the project is Trivikram. He is the thread that held all the flowers in the garland. Trivikram asked us to forget about the original film and we worked on it as if we are working on a new script. It’s a great learning experience for everyone.
Trivikram said, “First thanks to media for taking it to the nook and corner of the world. A good film gets a great review. That proved again with Bheemla Nayak. The first hurdle we faced was that the original was narrated from Koshy’s side, and here our challenge was to turn it towards Bheemla Nayak. We wanted to bring him close to the forest. We wanted to have a balanced journey for Nayak and Daniel. One good story is like a Drutharashtra, so we have to sway a bit from it. And we have a bigger star – Pawan Kalyan. So, we tried to balance it a lot to cater to masses and not letting down anything in the story.”
Then Trivikram took the names of different actors. He remarked, “Manik improvised a lot on sets. Chowdhary was good in present time and flashback. All the actors have owned the script. Telugu new-gen actors are greater than the older ones. Their understanding towards the cinema has come a long way. I thank the new-gen actors. Ganesh master shot the whole song in 3 days. The inspiration for the title track came from many ways. Thaman, Sagar, Sastry all were behind its inception. After watching a video of Mogalaiah, we roped him to sing it. We also found Durgavva through serendipity. Vijay master worked with great care and perfection. Yugandhar showed his resilience during tough times.”
Trivikram also mentioned how he and the producers created a bridge between Sagar and Pawan Kalyan, so the former could pull off his best without any hesitation. “Rana and Pawan Kalyan worked during the Covid times, and my respect goes to them. Ravi K Chandran created a magic. He shot the whole film in 57 days. Thaman has become a family. He is unleashing a new angle in every scene. Background score has also become like an emotion. There is a long way to go for him.”
