Story: In the 1970s, some Indians from Japan escape from their countrymen and come to Mumbai. The person who comes is Satyanarayana alias Satya Dada (Prakash Raj). Having brought a huge amount of gold from Japan, he takes his two sons (Venkat and Shyam) and his adopted son Oji alias Ojas Gambhira (Pawan Kalyan) and establishes a port in Mumbai and establishes a huge business empire. However, Satya Dada murders his elder son (Shyam) and leaves there and settles in Nashik with his wife Kanmani (Priya Arul Mohan) and daughter Tara. Satya Dada’s team seizes a container sent from abroad by Omi (Emraan Hashmi). During that dispute, Satya Dada’s younger son Parthu (Venkat) is killed by the rival faction Omi (Emraan Hashmi) in Mumbai. He also hatches a plan to kill Satya Dada. When Satyadada goes to Oji in Nashik, Omi’s group attacks him. Why did Oji kill Satyadada’s eldest son? Where did he go for 15 years after leaving Mumbai? How did he get married to Kanmani in Nashik? What kind of life did Oji lead with Kanmani in Nashik? Why did Satyadada go to Oji after his son’s death? Why did Omi’s group seize Satyadada’s port? Analysis: Fans have been waiting for a long time for a film that will elevate Pawan Kalyan’s image and range. In this sequence, this ‘OG’ is the film that has come to satisfy the hunger of the fans. This film is completely based on a gangster story. Pawan Kalyan touched on the mafia and gangster genre to some extent in ‘Panja’. But in this one, it is completely a gangster story. It remains the same from the beginning to the end. The entire film is mainly about action. Fans want to see Pawan Kalyan in such gangster films. This entire film is based on Pawan’s mark elevations and action. It remains the same from the beginning to the end. In the middle, family drama and drama related to action have been added. The beginning of the film.. What happened in 1940 in the journey of Oji’s character. The events that took place in 1970, how Oji’s life took a turn at that time. They tried to introduce Oji mainly by focusing on the circumstances that took place in 1993. Pawan’s entry is made about twenty minutes after the start of the film. But from the beginning, the discussion about him and his elevations runs with him. Pawan was shown with action sequences. The fight scenes are like wow. They are very good, different from the regular ones. They are impressive. To be honest, Oji is a very simple story. It seems like a very routine story to watch, but Sujith has planned the screenplay very carefully. He weaved the story around Pawan Kalyan.. His Aara drove the story of this film. He created excitement for the fans with his serious look and stylish action scenes. He also set an emotional backdrop in between to please the family audience. The emotional backstory with Priyanka Mohan and the interval sequence were the highlights. The director made the routine gangster drama emotional. He gave a high every 10 minutes regularly.. That too is not an ordinary high.. For the scenes written by Sujith.. Thaman scored the background score as if he had taken a drug. The first half is pure mental mass.. The jokes came.. The interval sequence is next level.. The police station scene in the second half is a testament to Pawan Kalyan’s craze. It slowed down a bit here and there but.. it went to the next level again from the pre-climax. In every scene written by Sujith, his love for Pawan Kalyan was visible.. He showed it 100 times better than how he wanted to show his favorite hero.. He turned a routine regular story around the name Pawan Kalyan. It is good to set the story in Mumbai with the threat posed to the samurai in Japan after World War II. Director Sujith takes some time to establish the characters in the story, so some episodes in the first half seem to lag. But Sujith makes a splash with Pawan Kalyan’s entry, action episode, and interval bang episode. With that, he closes the first half extraordinarily and increases the interest in the second half. It would have been more feel-good if there were a few more scenes between Kanmani and Oji. Running a gangster drama with a single agenda seems routine and regular. After the second half started with huge expectations, he made the story stronger with daughter sentiment. Returning to Mumbai and Ojas’s seriousness.. The episode where he goes to the police station and threatens Inspector Abhimanyu Singhna became the highlight of the film. The face-to-face scenes between Omi and Oji, as well as the chasing scenes between Arjun and Oji, seem to be the highlights of the film. The finishing touch with Washi O Washi in the climax is good. The twist given for the part has increased the expectations. However, since everything goes as expected in the second half, the thrilling moments seem to have decreased to some extent. Although the story is old, the samurai point in Japan seems to have brought something new to the film. Pawan Kalyan’s swag, style, and fights are the special attraction in this film. Power Star gave full meals to the fans who have been waiting for such a film for many years. Pawan appeared new in the love and emotions scenes. For the first time, Pawan appeared crazy in a meaningful action drama. There are three main action scenes in the first part and small action scenes in between. However, the film progresses with Pawan elevations every ten or fifteen minutes. The plot around Mumbai Port, the villains plotting to take it over, on the one hand, and Pawan Kalyan’s serious character elevations on the other, balancing the two. The interval action episode is like wow. It brought out the excitement.

As for the actors… Pawan Kalyan impressed with his oomph. Sujeeth has made his character so that whenever he appears on screen, he is like a Poonaka. That character is equally well-made on screen too. It is special that Pawan’s character is like a full meal for the fans. However, no one cares about Pawan’s acting, what matters is how he looks and how he impresses with his action. Emraan Hashmi’s role as Omi is also strong. Emraan impresses with his stylish look and action. Prakash Raj is comfortable in the role of Satyadada. He did just that well and impressed. Arjun Das’ role as Arjun is not good. There are two shades in his character. Shriya Reddy also impressed in a strong role as Satyadada’s eldest daughter-in-law. Her character elevations are good. And Shubhalekha Sudhakar’s role is entertaining. Venkat shines briefly as Parthu. Sudev Nair did well as Jimmy. Priyanka Arul Mohan’s love track is short. The scenes between Pawan and her are impressive. Tej Sapru impressed as Mirajkar. The rest of the characters seem okay. However, it is no exaggeration to say that no character in the film stands up to Pawan.

When it comes to technical aspects.. The way director Sujith has presented the story of a regular revenge gangster on screen in a very interesting way is super. He has made every frame beautiful. The chosen color pattern has made the film classy and rich. Thaman’s background score has become the lifeblood of this film. It can be said that he has shown his music universe in total. He has played many scenes in a range. The performance of the editing and art departments is good. The production values followed by DVV Danayya are solid. There is talk that the makers have spent a huge amount on this film from the beginning. It must be said that every frame has been made very rich accordingly. When it comes to the OG movie.. Sujith, Thaman and Pawan Kalyan appear as the three heroes in this film. It seems that these three have become the pillars of the film and have worked as a team. Although it is a regular gang war drama.. the events that took place in World War II and Japan were very useful in driving this story. It can be called a stylish gangster drama that has not come on the Telugu screen till now. This movie is like a festival for the fans. It is like full meals for the hungry Pawan Kalyan fans. This is a gangster movie with family elements and daughter sentiment. The cinematography work of Ravi K Chandran and Manoj Paramahamsa is also at the peak level. They have presented solid visuals. Thaman.. no matter how much is said about this man, it will be less. He did a tough duty. Thaman’s magic was a big plus for the movie, especially in the second half. Naveen Nooli’s editing made the story a little gripping. Overall, it can be said that this movie provided a festive atmosphere to the Power Star fans who were waiting for it with a thousand eyes.
